SAP Launches New HANA Enterprise Cloud Service

SAP announced the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud service, an offering designed to provide organizations with a new option for deploying the HANA in-memory platform. According to the company, the new service aims to enable organizations using HANA to realize faster time-to-value coupled with lower total cost of ownership, and achieve greater flexibility and reliability. Going forward, SAP said the service will allow customers to use HANA to run SAP ERP, CRM and NetWeaver Business Warehouse solutions, as well as other new applications, as a managed cloud service with elastic petabyte scale.
