IBM STG’s Enterprise 2013 – Overview and Findings (P1of3)

Part of my job as an information technology (IT) research analyst involves attending vendor-sponsored customer events and listening to technology executives articulate their strategies and focus areas. IBM’s Enterprise 2013 (sponsored by the company’s Systems and Technology Group) – a customer-focused cross product line update – is one such event.

What I like most about Enterprise 2013 is the customer and business partner interactions. It’s easy to strike up conversations with each group during breaks in the conference schedule and on the demo floor. During these discussions, I ask customers about IBM’s strategic messaging and which IBM products they are using in their data centers, as well as whether they are satisfied or dissatisfied with those products.
