The Magic of EMC2 (Part 2 of 2)

At the annual analyst meeting that EMC2 held last week, I was fascinated by how much unique business magic the company is able to demonstrate. This is really a very different company than the vast majority of its IT vendor peers, and most don”t even get that EMC2 and EMC are very different companies (much like VW and Audi are different). EMC has clearly stood out for some time in its aggressive use of analytics to understand customers, better anticipate their needs and assure their loyalty, but the company does a number of things that are unique and incredibly successful. Let’s talk about some of them.
