Why BI Often Fails and How AI Systems Could Bankrupt You

I had a fascinating discussion with Beyondcore’s CEO and Founder Arijit Sengupta on why and systems fail, and it is one very simple reason that is engineered in . In other words, these systems are usually designed to give answers the architects want the decision makers to ask and/or to conceal problems that the architects don’t believe exist or don’t want discovered.

In short, companies are paying billions of dollars for tools that can’t work because they’ve essentially been designed to fail. This is also one of the reasons the Affordable Health Care Act remains financially unviable. People forced the numbers to support the assumption they wanted and didn’t form opinions on the facts.
